Cameron Cordell

Cameron Cordell attended Rhodes University and Nelson Mandela University (NMU) where he obtained his BA LLB and Public Law Masters respectively. He joined the Eastern Cape Society of Advocates in 2021, where he has practised ever since. Cameron was a lecturer at both Rhodes and Nelson Mandela University. Between 2016 and 2017, he was a researcher assistant and facilitator at the Centre For Law In Action at NMU. He was also a legal researcher at Fish Force, a fisheries law enforcement academy at NMU, between 2018 and 2019. He has attended a number of conferences and international summits, including a NATO Model Youth Summit in Montenegro in 2014, the 4th International Symposium on Fisheries Crime in Copenhagen in 2018, as well as the Fish Force International Anti-Corruption Conference in 2025. His legal career is driven by a profound commitment to human rights advocacy, and a passion for anti-corruption initiatives.
